I was born in a middle class family on 30th december, 1992. I am the eldest son in my family, so everyone loved me a lot. I had been something called 'dulara'. My father too is the eldest one among his siblings. I was a very good boy, slight 'bhodu type' in my early days, but as the time passed i became much bold and removed the unwanted shame in me. My life has been full of struggles till date.
Some of the incidents that happened with me in my life are listed below:
I got ma fingures cut
I was about 2 years old when this incidence took place. It was a sunday morning. My younger uncle was shaving. After getting his beard shaved, he went to wash the razor in wash basin. He left the blade naked on the table. I, being very small and innocent, somehow managed to reach the blade and grabbed it in my hand. I don't remember what exactly had taken place at that time. As told by my parents, i came to know, that when i saw nobody looking at me, i just held the blade tightly. my fingers being soft, got cut lavishly. Somehow got my fingers medicated and finally everyone relaxed.
Got admitted in school
I was about three and half years old when i was admitted in a school named 'St. Joseph's School', the best school in my city for kids upto class fifth. Even today i remember that day. One of the most important days of my life. I was taken to my principal by my parents. I was told by my father to answer to all the questions which were asked to me. The first question she asked me was, 'What's your name?' And i felt shy to answer to her question. I don't know what was the reason but it was so, like almost every kid, i too felt shy. But finally by sitting in my MOM's lap i answered to her. Afterall i got admission. My home is merely at a little large distance from that school, situated at an outer area from the city. So there was no means of transport from my home to school. HERE STARTS MY STRUGGLE....
My father is a Govt. employee and at that time he was posted in another city, so there was no one to take me to school except my Mom. we had to walk about a kilometer to get a rikshaw. But it was my Mom's love towards me that everyday she took me to the school. After a few months, we got a rikshaw which got ready to take me to school. I, being single kid from my area to go to that school, cried everyday not to go to school. But it was useless, as i had to go.Somehow a few years passed.
Got admission in another school in class IV
Almost six years were over in St. Joseph's School. Now it was time for me to enter in a new world. i had never been very good in studies in my early days. So my father doubted that if i would be able to clear the entrance of my new school. I remember that day too. It was Mr. Joshi George Sir who took my interview. He asked me many questions. As he was a South Indian, Malyali, i was not able to understand his words perfectly which he said in english as i had never been among South Indians. That was the reason i interrupted him again and again while he was asking me questions, but finally i gave answer to almost all of his questions. The day of results arrived. My parents were much more nervous than i was. As my father was not in the city, he sent one of his friends to see my result. That person informed my Mom on my landline phone, that i had topped the entrance. Firstly my Mom told him to recheck the result. He confirmed it that it was me who topped the entrance. My Mom kept down the reciever and kissed me as hard as she could. And finally i got admitted in the best school of my city for senior classes, named 'St. Basil's High School'.
Went school by cycle for the first time
I was in class IV when this incidence took place. According to the rule of our school in those days, no student below class V was allowed to come to school on cycle unless his/her parents gave in written to our principal. I just learned to ride cycle in class II. And never i was allowed by my MOM to go riding, outside my colony. But one day i decided to go to school on cycle. When i told my MOM, she refused to permit me as my home was at a far distance from school. But still i wanted to go on cycle, so, silently i skipped from my home and rode fast towards my school. I reached there on time and the whole day i felt very bad on this deed of mine. But i could do nothing. As the school got over, i rushed for home. I wished to reach home as soon as possible so i took a short cut. As it was rainy season, the condition of that route was very bad. at places, the road was covered by muddy water. It can't be predicted whether there was road below water or it was broken. But as i wished to reach home in no time, i didn't turn back. Unfortunately i fell in water as the front tyre of my cycle hit a small stone. There happened the unexpected. I didn't get any hurt or wound but whole of my dress got untidy. And as i reached home, my whole face was red. And also, there at home, my MOM was waiting for me to scold. I came to know that after my daparture from home, she came to school for me but the school gates were close by the time she reached there so instead meeting Principal, she went back home. She was burning wit fire because of me. But when she saw my condition, she hugged me and started crying. But after that incidence, for the whole year i never again thought of going school on cycle.
Started riding bike
It was the summer holidays after class IV, when i started riding bike. My father had a SUZUKI MAX100 in those days on which i started to learn riding. I was very much excieted to learn riding. But no one was there to teach me. My father never taught me anything on his own. He always used to motivate me for everything. He just said learn it on your own. One of my neighbours told me all the mechanisms involved. But for the first time when i tried to ride, the bike got jumped. My father then came up and showed me how to ride. Finally i rode it inside the campus of my home. After the summer holidays got over, i used to go for a ride every morning, without letting my parents know about it. One day when i went for the ride, while riding, a bull came in front of my bike. I didn't had any such experience ever before. I led me to fall from the bike. By this the petrol tank of my bike got a leakage and the whole petrol drained out. Finally i was taken home by my neighbour. I was scared from the scolding which my father would do. But he didn't say me anything. He got it replaced and from the next day again i used to take bike for ride.
I sold a watch to my classmate
It is the incidence when i was in class V. My classteacher was Mr. Joshi George Sir, the most strict teacher of St. Basil's School at that time. Our half yearly exams were on. One of my classmate, Asutosh, son of The Commissioner of our city, asked me to buy him an adidas watch. He was unable to buy it as his father restricted him not to go out of his home. he gave me a hundred rupee note and i promissed him to bring him the next day. According to the rules of our school, no student was allowed to bring more than 5 rupees a day. Here we broke that rule. Now, on the next day i bought him the watch and when i was giving it to him, another classmate of mine, Sushil saw us. He blackmailed us that he would tell it to our classteacher or else i would buy one for him too. Fear of his scolding led me to do the same for him too. But i don't know fro where our classteacher got to know about all what had happened. On the very first day of the reopening, he called three of us and gave us such rude punishment that i never even tried to think about doing such jobs. I would never forget that caning which i suffered. even i don't remember exactly how many canes he gave on my back.
Trapped in stealing
Its the incidence when i was in class VIII. Many say "friends are life". But i think if friends wish, they can convert your life into hell. Few of my friends; named; Nouman, Harshit and Harsh; used to come at my home to play table tennis, badminton, and also to surf on the net. As days went by, they came regularly. After some time, they started to use some vulgar words and also spoke too loudly that it was heard even by my neighbours. I felt very bad about it. No one used to say anything, but I felt bad. Once, when the water was overhead, I told them to leave my home and go. They felt jealous of me and planned to take its revenge. While using net at my home they saw that i had a mouse pad which was very similar to the one in our school. So, in our next lab class, Harsh went to our computer teacher, Mr Vijay Kr. Tripathi Sir, and told him that i had stolen a mouse pad from the school laboratory. He then called me up in his cabin. Torchered me in such a way that there was no way for me other than to confess that i have done it. He told that he would send one of the peons to my home and check for it and if he gets it, i would be suspended from the school. As i have mentioned that i was a 'bhodu type' boy, i started crying. I thought that only for 15-20 Rs. I would be suspended, then why not to close this chapter by giving it to him. But i was wrong. That was not the end. He told me to bring it, the very next day and give it to Mr. Shoney Sir. I agreed to him and went back to my class. But after reaching there, every one saw me in another view. I was even criticized by many of my classmates. I kept on weaping the whole day. And the next day when i went to Shoney Sir, and gave him the mouse pad, he blamed me for stealing mouse balls too. Then i became little rigid and told him that he may do whatever he want, but i have not stolen anything from the school laboratory. I then said nothing and opened the door of his cabin and went back, shutting the door as hard as i could. By this incidence i became little rigid and knew something about this world. But at present these guys don't have any jealousy with me and are my friends as they were in earlier days.
Football match
It was the second half of class VIII when there were inter house sports meet in our school in which i became the captain of football team of "yellow house" of "juniors"; i.e.; among classes VI-VIII. Our team was the weakest one among all. As the second unit tests were approaching, only a few came to be a part of the competetions. From class VIII, only 3 were there in our team including me. Everyone thought that we are going to lose. But being the captain of the team, it was my duty to encourage the team mates. I did so. Our goal keeper was not so good as of other teams. He was just a starter of class VI. That was our weak point due to which we lost our first match. Now only three matches were left as it was a knock-out game. And if we lost any, we would be out of the competetion. I don't remember exactly what i thought, bu in the second match i became the goal keeper and two of my classmate played as attackers alongwith a boy of class VI who was a fast runner. One of class VII boy played as defender. The whole game was now on us. Others were not so good. I followed a strategy that just in the begening of the game score a goal and after that just pass the time by just kicking the ball out. Everyone did so. We were lucky that we scored a goal in first 5 mins. of the game. Now our strategy started. Our opponent team got confused. They came under pressure as we were leading them. Somehow we managed to pass the first half of the game. Now i knew that they would be more attacking. So i changed the team possesions. now all the strong one were at defenders and fast runners were attackers. By a little effort, our new attackers scored one more goal to our team. 15 mins. were over. Now once again the same strategy started. And finally we won the match by 2-0. Now we were on the second level. Same happened in this match too and we won by 1-0. Now we were in finals. We were being motivated a lot by our seniors and also by our teachers. Being the weakest team, we were now in the finals. Finally applying the same strategy, we won the competetion by winning the finals by 3-2. This game gave us a lot of motivation in our real life. In the starting we did not even thought of winning of even a single match, but at last we won the competetions. This gave us a message that never loose hope. And even though you lose hope, never lessen your hard work. You will surely succeed. This also became one of reasons to hide the case of stealing.
General things told by my elders about career....
I, being the eldest son in my family, were regularly told by my elders to focus on my studies. I had been a weak student throughout my academics. Few of my relatives got admission in "KOTA" for IIT-JEE or PRE-MEDICAL entrance coachings. Everyone told me to study hard or else i won't get selected in the entrance held by the coaching institutes of KOTA. I don't know why, but now-a-days its rather a status symbol or something to study in coaching institutes of KOTA. No doubt the study and facilities they provide are unique and good enough to get selected in entrances.
Computer assignments of class X boards
As mentioned above, i was in class X and as usual, we too got assignment topics in computer too. It was a program based topic. The total strength in our class was about 50 students. There were total of 10 topics which were given to us. It was in such a way that roll nos 1, 11, 21, 31, 41 got the same topics. In our class, the topper girl had roll number 1 and my roll number was 11. And on each computer in the lab sat two students. After arranging this pattern, our teacher came to us as we were on first computer, and told me that i will not be able to cope up with her and so she gave me another computer seperately. i felt very bad and humiliating too. But i didn't say anything and did what she said. The topic given to us was "ONLINE QUIZ". Its just the same as the game of "KAON BNEGA CROREPATI". Before starting the program we had to submit a rough draft of the program we were going to make. We were given three day time for this. It was a "BLUE JAVA" program. I thought of completing the program before anyone else did. So on the same day as we got our topics, i came home and started making the program on my PC. I didn't sleep for two nights. And step by step i completed the program in two days on my PC. Now it was time for its execution. within two hours, my program was executed. And within two other hours, i wrote it down on the project notebook after creatind the rough draft on its starting pages. Now it was the time for me to do the same on the computer of school laboratory. It was really a very long document. It would take me about a week to type it on school PC. So i copied it on my pen drive and took it in school. And when our teacher was checking the rough drafts of other students, i slowly copied it on its hard drive and removed my pen drive. Now i copied the document in a file of BlueJ and executed it and after that i deleted the document file that i copied on the hard drive and also removed it from the recycle bin so that i would not be traced. I just turned behind and gave a hidden look towards our teacher. I saw that she was checking the rough draft of the above mentioned topper girl. I thought that it was the best time to tell her that i completed my program. I went as soon as possible and informed her about it. She gave me a staring look and also other mates those were near me also stared at me. She exclaimed "are you gone mad!" I then showed her my notebook in which i wrote the program and also the rough draft. She told me to go back to my computer and she would come and check it on the computer itself. I did the same. After checking the rough drafts of few students, she came to me and told me to leave my place and she would sit on it and check it. I did whatever she said. She checked whatever sh wished. Firstly she checked the recycle bin, but i had already deleted the file. And then finally she congratulated me and told to help other students too. Now i felt too good when i wen and helped the same topper girl because of which i was sent in the corner.
